The ideal trekking for those who want to discover the enchanting north coast of the Gulf of Orosei, the most precious pearl of the Orosei coast. The unique ecosystem of the Biderosa Oasis makes it an unmissable experience during your holiday in Sardinia.
Description Biderosa Oasis Trekking
A unique tour dedicated to the discovery of the enchanting north coast of the Gulf of Orosei, among birdwatching, breathtaking views and beaches ideal for every tourist.
The adventure begins in Orosei aboard our 4×4 off-road vehicle. As a first stop, we will visit the Biderosa Protected Oasis, a protected and limited-numbered park extending over 500 hectares, made up of woods and Mediterranean scrub framed by five beaches of very fine, white sand, which overlook an emerald sea.
There are many corners characterized by a flora of solitary centenary junipers, cistus, myrtle and white sea lilies, framed by pink granite and waters of indescribable transparency.
We will walk through the pine forest of the protected oasis of Biderosa to get to the pond of Sa Curcurica, in Italian the zucchini. The pond represents a veritable treasure trove of bird biodiversity, perfect for those who want to try their hand at birdwatching. From the dedicated positions it is possible to observe and photograph numerous species: white and gray herons, egrets, cormorants, moorhens or the numerous migratory species such as mallards, pink flamingos or noisy black-winged stilts.
After lunch our 4×4 tour continues towards the beach of Capo Comino, in the territory of Siniscola, in Baronìa. The beach is famous for its high white dunes dotted with junipers and other Mediterranean plants, crystal clear waters and characteristic rocks scattered on the beach.
We will visit the Capo Comino lighthouse located to the south, where the coast becomes rocky and from where we will be able to enjoy a suggestive panoramic view.
The naturalistic wonder of Capo Comino is completed by the vision of the Ruja island (Red Island), a red porphyry islet, reachable by swimming or on foot depending on the tide, whose shades mix with the blue ones of the sea for a visual effect postcard.
After the last dip in these crystal clear waters, we will conclude this beautiful day spent together with a stop at the small bar in the pine forest to chat in the company of an ice cream or a Sardinian beer.
